Membership Renewal 2023-2024: COVER LETTER

Through the energy of our members and staff plus the support of Dr Jerry Schwartz and his team, not to mention our growing partnership with the Fairmont Resort and the visitors that frequent our course and clubhouse, Leura Golf Club over the last year has achieved a lot. New communications systems, new website design, revamped Proshop, new members lounge, new entertainment stage, new tee on the 12th hole and Rotary awards for excellence to the greens staff – to name just a few. 

The club is now committed to holding one golfing major event every month for the rest of this calendar year with a musical celebration and a trophy presentation every time. We are also looking to expand the entertainment potential of the club and to continue improving the golf course with a range of exciting upcoming projects. 

While our running costs continue to climb, we are committed to holding the annual price of membership as low as possible. Last year, full membership was without a doubt one of the lowest in the wider Sydney area at only $550 per annum. This year there is a moderate increase to $595. Colt rates have also increased by this sum, while Junior and Social membership fees remain the same. We believe this continues to represent outstanding value. For this extremely reasonable fee, we are proud to offer full members the following array of benefits: 

All seven–day members paying in full by the end of July will also have fifty LGC dollars added to their account to be spent through the Proshop or the Bar.
