Emergency Services

Thank You Emergency Services Personnel

Leura Golf Club is offering a heavily-discounted membership deal for personnel  in the police, fire brigade, Rural Fire Service, ambulance, medical services,  SES and National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Under the new membership arrangement, eligible Emergency Services workers based in the Blue Mountains will be able to play golf at the course 7 days a week, and access a 25% discount on green fees and golf carts as well as member discounts in the bar and clubhouse bistro.

The Emergency Services Membership is open to card-carrying personnel, including front-line fire (including RFS), police and ambulance officers, doctors, nurses, SES and NPWS workers based in the Mountains.

“We wanted to find a way of recognising the wonderful contribution made by our Emergency Services personnel in making the Blue Mountains a safer and more enjoyable place to live,” Mr Will Elliott, the President of LGC, said. “People in these professions have done much to protect our World Heritage Area and preserve the environment and living conditions for the benefit of visitors and the resident community as a whole. The club wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation for the essential work undertaken by these services.”
