We recently held a joint 40th & 50th birthday party at Leura Golf Club, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Mike and his team were absolutely fantastic – nothing was too much trouble. They made space for our setup, offered exclusive cocktails at the bar, and took care of every small detail. We had exclusive use of the venue, space to dance the night away, and everything ran so smoothly. Our guests are still talking about what a wonderful night it was. We couldn’t recommend Leura Golf Club more highly!

Stunning Course with decent Dining. Leura Golf Course is an absolute gem in the Blue Mountains! The scenic views of the Jamison Valley are breathtaking, and the course itself is well-maintained, offering a great challenge for golfers of all levels. The historic charm of the club, dating back to 1902, adds to the experience, making every round feel special.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit. While the food at the clubhouse bistro wasn’t particularly outstanding, it was still decent enough to satisfy after a long day on the course. The real highlight here is the golfing experience, and that alone makes it worth the visit! If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to play golf in the Blue Mountains, Leura Golf Course is a fantastic choice.

The Leura Golf Club Bistro served really nice food. We were seated at the corner near the window which had a nice view. There was colouring drawings and crayons for kids to play. People were nice and friendly and the food was good.

I have played golf at Leura Golf Club on several occasions over the past 10 years, during visits to my in laws. I have always enjoyed my game there. The course is beautifully maintained, the views magnificent, and some holes have challenged me. The Pro shop staff are friendly and helpful, and a refreshing drink in the clubhouse bar overlooking the course is always pleasant.

We played Leura Golf Course on 23rd April 2023. We had a great day. The course has had a lot of improvements since we visited, this time last year. The greens were in good condition. We have a group of 36-40 Golfers for our annual event. The Pro Shop staff are very accommodating. Paul and Darren went above and beyond to get us all out on time. This year, with the early start time, chefs were not available. Paul (Proshop) and his wife catered for the entire group, cooking hamburgers for us all, while we had a cold beer on the balcony. The entire group are thankful for the gesture. Just a personal Thank You to Paul. It was easier to say food isn’t available, but he promised us a feed and he delivered. Looking after a bus load of guys having a few beers, food was important to us. Thank you to everyone involved. See you next year.

We played at Leura GC last 22nd April 2023 and it was a great day of golf. We played their Saturday Stableford Open Competition. The El Chapo Gang normally books around 12 to 20 players and Leura GC Proshop staff were always very accommodating. They make sure to provide convenient time slots for our group. Their fairways and greens were in excellent condition! Some of their holes have very spectacular layouts and fantastic views. 14th Hole, what a view from the tee box. We are definitely playing there again very soon, and we can’t wait.

I played Leura in May and had a great time. The course was impressively manicured, the people at the proshop were so helpful, and my day was super fun. I also stayed at the Fairmont, which was most comfortable and an easy walk to the golf club.

Having established a social golf club, Leura was a regular venue I booked in the late 80’s. It’s been a pleasure to return and play the course again, several times in the past few years. Generally regarded as the best of the ‘Blue Mountains’ courses, whilst not being a long course, it presents an array of challenges for golfers of all skills; and from the golf shop to the 19th, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Apart from golf, the variety of views across the Jamison Valley are spectacular, sunlight on cliff faces to fog ascending from the valleys. Leura is worth a visit; and with the Fairmont Resort across the road offering abundant activities, it’s the ideal place for a round of golf or a weekend away with a few mates and the family.
