Social Members and beginners are welcome and will be allocated a handicap of 36 for men and 45 for women.
This provides an opportunity for non-golfers to learn and experience our beloved game and hopefully get hooked on it like the rest of we golf tragics.
We encourage players to stay on for a drink, presentation of prizes and dinner in the Bistro after your game.
Conditions of Play
- Tee off from 10:00am, playing from white markers for men and red markers for women.
- Fee is $10 per player.
- Competition will be played over 9 holes alternating week about.
- Front 9 – 1st to 9th
- Back 9 – 1st then 11th to 18th.
- Competition will be conducted using the Stroke scoring system.
- A mercy rule will apply – once a player has had three shots over par on any hole, pick up your ball and record the score for that hole as three over. Move on to the next hole.
- Handicaps for both 9’s will be half your current daily GA handicap.
- Official rules of golf apply.
- All prizes are added to members’ cards, visitors will be given vouchers.
9 & Dine
- Golf rules as above
- The 9 & Dine will be a once a month event. First on Jan 10 with Italian theme.
- Non-players can participate in the dinner for a $30 fee
- Players will pay $20 for the game or a $50 package for game plus dinner. Larger cash prizes and vouchers will be offered for the 9-hole competition
